Don't Give Up

This ballad of loving encouragement comes from the movie Goddess, and was sung in the film both by Laura Michelle Kelly, and, in a longer version Ronan Keating.

This arrangement sets the full version as the lyrics were too lovely to leave any out. It is conceived as a contest-suitable barbershop ballad, with a flexible rubato delivery that allows the poetic metre to shape the phrases.

It was commissioned to form a set with 'Mama's Shoes' from the same film.
