This is a lavishly-arranged rendition of Nancy Sinatra's 1966 hit. The arrangement starts simply, but progressively picks up and develops the chromatic riffs from the original, and thus asks for vocal precision as well as performative pizzazz. The mood shares something of the extravagance of the catwalk scene in the movie Kinky Boots (2005) in which this song also featured.
