Yes, I would agree Mark that the tone is very much the same as the BHS are used to adopt in addressing their own membership. It did come over very much as the boys aiming to impress each other about how they are going to monetize diversity, rather than addressing the people they are looking to attract in.
But they did splash it all over social media. If it was intended as an internal document, it needed to treated as such.
