Shirley Bassey made the iconic recording of this song as the theme tune for the eponymous Bond movie. It charts a journey from mystery to strength, with the song's persona somehow managing to come over as simultaneously sympathetic and self-contained.

This is an earlier, simpler arrangement of the song than my version for men's voices - different commissioning groups had different musical needs.
